  Kanchenjunga Trek

We invite you to trek in one of the most remote and beautiful areas in Nepal which still lies surrounded in mystery: Kanchenjunga.  The area is abundant with wildlife, as inhabitation consists of only scattered villages.  There are musk deer, blue sheep and, for the believer, the Yeti!  Magnificent views of Everest, Makalu and Kanchanjunga massif will make the trip worth your while.

Mount Kanchanjunga (8586 M.) is the third highest mountain in the world and the second highest peak in Nepal . It is located in the extreme northeast corner of Nepal bordering Sikkim (an Indian State ) to the east and China to the north. This trek is the most adventurous of all the routes offered. This trek begins at Tumlingtar or Taplejung accessible by air, or Ilam or Basantpur accessible by road. Soaring peaks, the Yalung Glacier and a wide variety of natural vegetation and agricultural areas can be seen in this region.
